This post, and the one immediately following, is dedicated to the great folks over at the online "Combat" community. There they celebrate the classic Vic Morrow TV series and there are daily postings about the show and other items of wartime interest. I know that some of them scoot on over to this blog and some of my others when my wife, Karen, gives notice there that I've newly posted war comics.
"Unknown Soldier" is a more mature reboot of the old DC comics' series and it certainly deals starkly with the horrors of war.
One more note: God bless our veterans, past and present, for whom this Veteran's Day Holiday was enacted.
